Madame Tussauds Educational Tour

On 27 March, 2008, 25 students had a chance to visit Madame Tussauds at the Peak accompanied by Miss Kwok and Miss Ngan. They had a ride on the Peak Tram and attended a briefing session held by the staff at the wax museum. Students understood how a wax figure was made and the staff showed them how to insert hair into the wax. It took 140 hours to finish inserting all the hair of a wax figure and every figure costs a million Hong Kong dollars. After the talk, students went to take photos with different wax figures. They were very excited because they could touch the figures. There were many famous figures and many students even imitated how the figure looked like when taking photos. A few girls also dressed up like the figures using the props given. It’s really a great fun. You may enjoy the videos and photos attached.
