With the whole school singing the school song ‘Love and Service’, the Opening Ceremony began. The theme of the Opening Ceremony was ‘Sense of Responsibility’. It was presented in the form of a drama. The characters in the drama managed to get the message across that students, as a student, a family member and a citizen, have responsibilities to fulfill. Our Principal, Miss Lam, gave a speech on the scripture reading of the day: Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25: 14-30). She encouraged students to realize their full potential and equip themselves to cope with challenges. Intentions for prayer were then presented. The ceremony ended with a hymn to give thanks to the Lord. |
